Before you get this cajon and bent your back to play like this, stretch well and make sure your back can take it. I was very sore after only half an hour of this and it lasted days!

if you constantly play with brute force, i can agree with you. but most musicians know not to constantly put excessive pressure on their wrists n let it rest a while before playing again. eventually, this trains the wrist joints which will positively make it stronger. I am a rock drummer and when i was starting out, i injured my wrist often cuz i didnt use proper technique but now my wrist is stronger than ever, n i never havta worry about injuring it again :)

if it would damage wrists, then no-one would be able to play drums, guitars, harmonicas, pianos/keyboards, or most of the other instruments i didnt mention, because they also require wrist movements. think about it.
