Yes Hughie Thomassen one of the founders of the original Outlaws later played lead guitar with the reborn Skynyrd. He, Henry Paul and Monte Yoho regrouped as The Outlaws in their spare time. Musicians from Paul's band Blackhawk filled in the rest.

The last time I saw The Outlaws was at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY and it was probably one of my favorite over the last 30 years. That's because I finally had the Great Honor of meeting the band in person. And while Hughie wasn't there he was in spirit. Keep rocking. New York Loves The Outlaws!

I'm from Poland, and I think I could be one of, maybe, a few polish fans of this band, they're awesome. I haven seen they cd in polish music stories, what a shame...
