You're probably right, but remember it was John and Paul that wrote the Rolling Stones first top 20 hit with I Wanna Be Your Man. After the Beatles broke up the Stones were undeniably the best in the world. But just imagine if John and Paul didn't end up hating each other at the end and there was no break up. Who knows how much better they could still have gotten.

I love the Beatles, and statistically you're spot on, but read some of the things that were written about the Beatles and the Stones. They were more friends than competitors, and both of them influenced the other. And for my money nobody has ever put out a group of eight albums in a row to compete with "Flowers", "Between the Buttons", "Aftermath", "Satanic Majesties Request", "Beggar's Banquet", "Let It Bleed", "Sticky Fingers", and "Exile on Main Street" I dig the Beatles but the Stones R it.
