Look up Super Banite on BBC News online. Combine this new development in heavy armour with new active protection systems, & it looks like the future of the tank as the dominating ground force is secure.

Since they took the human loader out and replaced it with an auto loader they don't need the armor that would protect the person if he were there. Thus making the turret smaller.The Russians have been perfected this for a long time, thats why there tanks are so lite like the T-90 which is only 46 tons same with the T-72 which is like 41 tons.hope to help

Turret kinda reminds me a low profile LeClerc...overall though it looks good. Great idea to finally include a CITV like our M1A2's. I couldn't tell what was the main gun's size? Looked like another 120mm or 125mm maybe?

How dose it manage to be so light? Surley it has must have less protection then its peers? Either way, its good to see new tanks being built. If our idiot politions had there way we would be using 20 tonne wheeled coffins (FRES). Another Eurofighter disaster waiting to happen X(
