British try to make it cheap, Japanese to make it affordable and Germans to make everything perfect. All of them not always successfull. I am a german but I prefer the japanese way with a nice MX 5 10.Aniversary

Ya right Clarkson. An MX5 is the best British built sports car because it's a good drive. So does that mean that a Volvo is the best built Canadian car because it doesn't draw a lot of attention and plays it pretty safe?I wonder why he didn't mention the Nobel M12.
