Comfort (as a relative term) DOES matter to the majority of riders--yes, even sportbike riders. If you're buying one to do wheelies in the parking lot, more power to you. I like to ride all day, sometimes for several days, so it makes a difference to me. I can only afford one motorcycle, so what I buy has to be rideable. I'm willing to sacrifice a lot of comfort for performance, just not all of it.
