Those buggies are bigger than the cars, about 1.5 times wider and 2 times longer. But the buggies have real suspension and more customisation options: motor, gears and tires are can be replaced with upgraded parts (c.f. the tamiya mini4wd series). Also it no longer uses the button batteries, and instead charges from the controller. The controller is now larger (still small) and takes in regular sized batteries instead of button ones.
