What fun! The Burlington Northern RR in the PNW (USA) uses a smaller engine mounted on a base with fuel tank and held by an on track front loader for blowing snow and ice from switches with the hot exhaust. I think it would be neat to make a snow blower for my driveway out of a small jet.

Over the years I have had some very tolerant neighbours, even my current neighbour has warmed to the fact my letterbox is a gas turbine engine, a lovely Rolls Royce Dart. Its static at the moment, all it needs is a little TLC and it would become the ultimate noise maker.

Actually just to set the record straight: I'm not a Worksafe fan! Because...I am an employer! Haha.

If Worksafe was allowed to govern safety standards of hobby workshops I'd be in real trouble :Dthankfully its all a matter of "common sense" in the hobby biz. |
