Unless theres going to be a ruler of the world who really needs war? Why dont we use all this money towards our daily lives, like free food or all, clean water for all, free electricity for all, free clothes for all, etc etc ...instead we decide to work meaningless jobs to get these things and waste money on ammunition, guns, bombs, etc

The Sweden vs. Finland contest is useless and unfruitful. Sweden benefits from Finland's defense capabilities as the likely aggressor will come from the east. In such a case it is in Sweden's interest to support Finland, but at the same time Finland can not rely on outside support.I would also say that wars are never won with technology. There are many examples of that. It is the soldier on the ground that wins the wars. Training, motivation and sheer numbers are the key.

have the manpower to wield it. There are allot of countries that buy Swedish military hardware which confirms that fact. Just recently our defence minister in Sweden officially stated that we cannot defend ourselves any longer. We could almost muster 60 000 troops AFTER a whole YEAR. The Finns can get at least 300 000 after just a day.//Erunas

As a fellow Swede I feel it's my responsibility to educate you in this matter.As much as I regret to say it you are wrong, first and foremost you are right about the fact that we have and use world leading technology in SOME areas. But since the defence issue is pretty much neglected and silenced here in Sweden FM does not receive the money that it needs to become something even remotely close to "Scandinavia's strongest army". We still have allot of world leading hardware but we do not...

I like Finland, but it's not the strongest army in Scandinavia sorry. Sweden, were i come from, we produces many super weapons and such, but were not prepared for a war. Some peapole in sweden says that if we had a invasion, we wouldn't hold the lines for 24 hours. I think that the Scandinavian countries should cooperate with eachother more :D
